3.Process of Microwave Machines in Tea Drying Sterilization
1.After fresh leaves are picked, they are spread evenly (thickness ≤ 5 cm) and naturally wilted to reduce moisture content to 65%-68%.
2. Fixation and sterilization (microwave initial stage)
Tea leaves enter the microwave cavity via a conveyor belt, subjected to low-temperature irradiation at 70-85°C to deactivate oxidase activity (enzyme deactivation rate > 99%) and destroy microbial cell walls (sterilization rate ≥ 99.5%).
Key control: Power 15-25 kW, time 90-120 seconds, avoid high temperatures that cause the decomposition of thearubigins.
3. Dynamic dehydration (microwave middle stage)
The microwave penetrates the internal moisture of the tea leaves, generating heat through molecular high-frequency oscillation, causing moisture to evaporate from inside out.
Simultaneously, the dehumidification system is activated (airflow speed 1.5-2 m/s) to quickly expel moist hot steam and prevent secondary moisture absorption.
Parameter standards: Temperature controlled at 75±5°C, moisture content reduced to 12%-15%.
4. Enhancing aroma and shaping (microwave final stage)

5. Cooling and packaging
